Attending the fall leadership connection gives FCCLA members the distinct opportunity to meet guest speakers, participate in workshops, and network with other members and advisors from around the state of New Jersey. Additionally, members will have the chance to showcase their skills by competing in any of the twelve competitive events offered at the conference. The cupcake challenge, otherwise known as the highlight of the conference, is a competitive event in which fccla members create cupcakes while incorporating a mystery ingredient. These cupcakes are then displayed, judged, and sold during the conference, with all proceeds going toward Share our Strength’s no kid hungry campaign.
